Summer work permits           

STUDENT WORK PERMIT INFORMATION FOR SUMMER 2022

Once a student is offered employment, a work permit application will need to be completed by the student, parent/guardian, and the student's employer. **

  • Scan the work permit application or take photos of it (be sure the photos clearly have complete images of the application)

  • Send images of the application by email to Mr. Hurtado at hurtadol@mdusd.org

  • Please allow three day turnaround time for processing. The Student Work Permit will be emailed to the student when complete

  • Student’s Email address is REQUIRED

  • Expiration: Student Work Permits issued in the Summer (non-school days) expire five days after the opening of the next school year (EC 49118)

  • Incomplete applications will be returned**Students who reside in Mt. Diablo Unified School District Boundaries but are Enrolled in non-MDUSD schools

To process a non-MDUSD student's work permit application, you must include the following:

  • Student's last report card

  • Attendance / Enrollment of current school

  • Parent's ID
